Position: Outdoor Power Sales Associate (Full-Time)
Pay Rate: $14-$16/hr
About Us: Farm and Home Hardware has proudly served our local communities, offering high-quality hardware, home improvement products, and outdoor power equipment. We're looking for a knowledgeable and friendly individual to join our team as an Outdoor Power Sales Associate.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting outdoor power equipment, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and generators.
Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on product features, maintenance, and safe operation.
Maintain clean and organized sales floor displays and outdoor equipment areas.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the sales counter.
Manage inventory, stock shelves, and ensure products are clearly priced and labeled.
Address customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
Proficient in basic computer skills and able to navigate point-of-sale systems.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Previous retail sales experience, particularly with outdoor power equipment, preferred but not required.
Ability to learn product specifications and communicate effectively with customers.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy retail environment.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 lbs.
