The Challenge Course Manager works under the direction of the Outdoor Program Coordinator at Weber State University. The primary duty of the position is to provide experiential learning training for outdoor program staff and overall program development/delivery for challenge course-based programs. The position will facilitate the use of the low ropes course for corporate groups, youth groups, sports teams, therapy groups, and university departments/organizations. The Challenge Course Manager will tailor the experience to the goals and capabilities of the clients with a focus of facilitating team building amongst all group members by communicating and providing varying parameters and challenging tasks with each element, and promoting challenge by choice. The Challenge Course Manager will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the Challenge Course and equipment.
