As the Outer Suburb Cannabis Dispensary General Manager, you''ll own the pace, precision, and performance of a high-energy cannabis retail operation-keeping product, people, and compliance locked in while delivering a standout guest experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive inventory accuracy across Blaze/POS and state tracking; investigate variances quickly and document next steps
  • Manage ordering, expirations/FIFO rotation, discounts, and waste processes to protect margin and compliance
  • Build strong vendor partnerships and spot fresh opportunities for new products and smarter purchasing
  • Hire, onboard, train, coach, and hold leaders accountable through clear standards and timely feedback
  • Oversee daily cash controls, manager logs, scheduling, and weekly payroll deadlines

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Proven multi-unit or single-site GM/retail leadership with strong compliance discipline
  • Inventory management strength and comfort with POS systems and reporting
  • Confident communicator who can lead meetings, coach performance, and make fast, sound decisions

Weekly Rhythm:

As the Outer Suburb Cannabis Dispensary General Manager, you kick off the week by getting everyone aligned fast: send out the previous week''s expiration list, double-check the waste log, and tackle any coaching, write-ups, or leadership follow-ups that need momentum. When the doors are closed, you go full detail-mode-running scheduled counts (Metrc/high‑potency, vapes, flower, pre-rolls, wax, plus bimonthly gummies/drinks and the monthly full-store sweep) and entering everything accurately in Blaze.

Midweek brings your one-hour leadership huddle: you walk through discount reports, store metrics, what''s winning, and what needs an immediate pivot-then trade new product ideas and keep vendor conversations moving. You lock next week''s schedule by Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. Each day ends with a clean manager log, tight drawer/safe control, updated safe totals, and ATM/change needs handled. Monday is go-time for payroll-submitted by 10am.
