As part of the renowned MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute, MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery team. Our institute is recognized regionally and nationally for advancing cardiovascular care through groundbreaking research, state-of-the-art technology, and a steadfast focus on improving patient outcomes.
In this role, you will:
Provide comprehensive outpatient care, focusing on pre- and post-operative office based management.
Collaborate with an expert team of surgeons, physicians, and advanced practice providers to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in cardiac surgery practices.
Position Details:
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Day shift - 8 hour shifts
Outpatient-focused role with Inpatient Involvement
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in cardiac surgery or a surgical/acute care setting strongly preferred
Committed to teamwork, clinical excellence, and advancing cardiovascular care
