Job duration: 13 weeks of Contract (Possible Extension)
Shift Option: 3*12hrs | 4*10hrs | 5*8hrs | Days | Nights
 
Compensation:
Local Pay: $40/hour - $50/hour on W2
Travel Pay: $1876.77 to$2085/weekly

Job summary:
The Outpatient Clinic RN provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in an ambulatory/clinic setting. The RN will assess patients, coordinate care, provide patient education, manage medications and treatments, and support providers with clinical needs. Emergency Department experience is highly valuable for this role due to the need for strong assessment, prioritization, triage, and patient-care skills.


Job description:

• Perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, and identify changes in patient condition.
• Conduct telephone and in-person triage and determine appropriate level of care.
• Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications, injections, vaccines, and other treatments as ordered.
• Provide wound care and basic clinical procedures as needed.
• Review and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic results.
• Respond to patient messages, calls, and clinical questions through the appropriate communication system.
• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, follow-up care, and preventive health.

 
Requirements:

• 2+ year of Emergency Department Experience
• Active RN state License
• BLS
