Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Medical Dietetics and/or Nutrition
  • Certifications Requirements: Registered Dietitian license in Ohio or eligibility for licensure in Ohio; Valid Ohio motor vehicle operator's license; Proof of personal automobile liability insurance
  • Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of inpatient clinical dietitian experience; Experience in hospital outpatient settings preferred; Familiarity with nutrition assessment and dietary planning
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work 40 hours per week; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work independently in a hospital setting

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide nutritional care and counseling to outpatient hospital patients, assessing individual dietary needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, review medical records, and develop tailored dietary plans.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and food service personnel to ensure accurate diet implementation and patient education.
