Highlights of the Position
Located at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center in Cortland, NY, this Advanced Practice Provider role is 100% ambulatory
Provide evaluation and management for adult patients with common GI conditions, support longitudinal IBD and hepatology follow?up, optimize medication therapy, coordinate care, and deliver pre?/post?procedure education
You will collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, fellow APPs, RNs, and clinic leadership within an integrated multi?specialty system

Candidate Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with current national certification
Eligible for New York licensure, prescriptive authority, and DEA. Current BLS required (ACLS preferred).
GI or internal medicine experience is preferred; highly motivated new graduates with strong adult medicine rotations and a clear interest in GI will be considered
Success in this role requires excellent patient education, interprofessional teamwork, EMR documentation proficiency, and a collaborative, solutions?oriented approach.
