Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Outpatient Infusion
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 8103 Oak Orchard Rd, Batavia, NY 14020
Start Date: 10/26/2026
Schedule: Day Shift 5 X 8s • 40 hrs / Week
Setting: Community-based oncology practice / outpatient infusion
Patient Mix: Hematology/Oncology, monoclonals & non-oncology referral infusions
Assignment: ~8 patients per infusion RN; max daily capacity 24 patients
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Weekends/Holidays: None
Call: No on-call responsibilities
Experience:2–3 years recent infusion experience required; outpatient clinic experience highly preferred
Certifications: ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification + AHA BLS
License: Current, unencumbered NY RN License
EMR/Equipment: Epic EMR + Alaris infusion pumps
Skills: Strong IV/vascular access & port access; chemotherapy teaching; independent patient management
Soft Skills: Excellent communication with patients, families & oncology team
Traveler Requirement:No first-time travelers
