Job Requirements
Education Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) diploma or equivalent from an accredited program

Certifications Requirements:

• Valid Licensure as an LPN in Texas
• CPR certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of clinic experience
• Experience with mental health patients strongly preferred
• Prior outpatient clinic experience

Other Requirements:

• Ability to float between multiple clinic locations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including shadowing and hands-on training

Job Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing interventions within the outpatient clinic setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and progress in electronic health records.
• Execute medication administration and monitor patient responses, reporting any adverse reactions or concerns.
• Support the onboarding process by shadowing experienced nurses and assisting with patient education during orientation.
