Position Overview
A well-established regional healthcare organization in southeast Alabama is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a collaborative outpatient neuroscience practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a strictly outpatient role with a strong multidisciplinary support team and no inpatient call responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience or specialized training in Neuromuscular Medicine and EMG/NCV testing.
Practice Details
- 100% outpatient neurology practice
- No call responsibilities
- No weekend coverage
- No holiday coverage
- Hospital-based outpatient clinic conveniently located on campus
- Neurodiagnostic testing available onsite
- Opportunity to focus on General Neurology with an emphasis in Neuromuscular Medicine/EMG
Collaborative Support
Providers work closely with a comprehensive neuroscience team that includes:
- Neurosurgeons
- Interventional Neuroradiologists
- Radiation Oncologists
- Neurohospitalists
- Stroke Teleneurology providers
- Neuromuscular Rehabilitation specialists
- Balance Center specialists
This team-based environment offers a comprehensive approach to neurological care and strong referral support.
Teaching Opportunities
Physicians may have the opportunity to work with:
- Internal Medicine residents
- Transitional Year residents
- Osteopathic medical students
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology through ABMS
- Eligible for Alabama medical licensure
- Completion of Neurology residency training

- Additional training in EMG/NCV
- Neuromuscular Medicine experience
- Strong interest in outpatient neurological care
