Outpatient Physical Therapist

Located in Montrose, California, Flintridge Physical Therapy ("FPT") is an outpatient clinic that is dedicated to providing the best quality of care for its patients. Our treatment philosophy includes a one-on-one approach utilizing a mix of wellness programs, exercise, and patient education to achieve the best outcomes possible.

FPT is currently seeking a part-time Physical Therapist, that may potentially transition to a full-time role. The ideal applicant should be motivated, down to earth, and a team oriented individual.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the rules and regulations of the Physical Therapy Board of California and American Physical Therapy Association.
• Perform all tasks and maintain professionalism within the scope of normal clinical practice.

• Treat patients of all ages for neuromuscular dysfunction, spinal health, orthopedics, and sports injuries.

• Assess a patient to develop a treatment plan with measurable goals, and document reports and daily notes in a timely manner in compliance with FPT’s quality standards.

• Maintain communication with other team members, including but not limited to physical therapist assistants, regarding patient treatment plans.
• Participate in educational programs and staff meetings.
• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and confidentiality policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Board Certified Physical Therapist.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other staff members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• New grads are welcome to apply.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (e.g., 4 to 8 hours depending on part-time or full-time status).

• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

• Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 pounds in weight.
