Brooks Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Outpatient team. Department: Outpatient - Ormond Beach

Hours: M-F 8A-5P 40hrs/week

Compensation: Experience and education may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care for a variety of rehabilitation diagnoses.
  • Provide a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment techniques.
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with patients, families, physicians, and team members.
  • Promote evidence-based patient care and best clinical practices.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational, state, and federal requirements.

Physical Therapist (PT) Responsibilities

  • Complete patient evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans and goals.
  • Perform re-evaluations and modify plans of care as appropriate.
  • Participate in all aspects of patient care management and progression through the rehabilitation process.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities

  • Function under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

For Physical Therapist (PT) Candidates

  • Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida.
  • Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements.

For Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Candidates

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Florida.
  • Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
  • Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements.
