PET/CT Technologist (Float)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced PET/CT Technologist to join a growing outpatient imaging team. This float position is based in East Brunswick, NJ and provides coverage at Edison and Nutley locations as needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technologist who enjoys working with advanced imaging technology, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting multiple imaging centers within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform PET/CT imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and advanced imaging equipment
Prepare and administer radioactive pharmaceuticals according to established protocols
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the imaging process
Operate PET/CT equipment and maintain imaging quality standards
Follow radiation safety procedures and regulatory requirements
Maintain equipment and quality assurance standards
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and imaging staff to ensure accurate diagnostic results

Requirements

NJDEP State License
CPR Certification
ARRT (CT) or NMTCB/CT Certification (Fusion Modality)
ARRT (N) or NMTCB (N) Certification
Minimum 2 years of PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, or related experience
Strong patient care and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an outpatient imaging environment
PET/CT experience across multiple locations
Strong understanding of radiation safety practices
Ability to adapt to varying workflows and schedules
