PET/CT Technologist (Float)

East Brunswick, NJ

Overview

We are seeking an experienced PET/CT Technologist to join a growing outpatient imaging team. This float position is based in East Brunswick, NJ and provides coverage at Edison and Nutley locations as needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technologist who enjoys working with advanced imaging technology, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting multiple imaging centers within a collaborative environment.

 

Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PET/CT imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and advanced imaging equipment
  • Prepare and administer radioactive pharmaceuticals according to established protocols
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the imaging process
  • Operate PET/CT equipment and maintain imaging quality standards
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain equipment and quality assurance standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and imaging staff to ensure accurate diagnostic results

Requirements

  • NJDEP State License
  • CPR Certification
  • ARRT (CT) or NMTCB/CT Certification (Fusion Modality)
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB (N) Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, or related experience
  • Strong patient care and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an outpatient imaging environment
  • PET/CT experience across multiple locations
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety practices
  • Ability to adapt to varying workflows and schedules
