Job Description: In this role, the Outpatient Therapist will provide diagnostic assessments and individual and group psychotherapy to our clients. This program provides services specifically to people in need of substance use treatment.
Location: Bethlehem, PA
Pay Rate: $30+/hour (billable rate)
Schedule: Full-Time (Monday through Friday, flexible scheduling & evening hours)
Program: Drug & Alcohol Outpatient

What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for newly admitted clients
- Provide outpatient therapy for individuals with substance use disorders
- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans and recovery goals
- Provide individual and group therapy based on clinical needs
- Deliver crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization services as necessary
- Apply evidence-based practices to support clients with mental health conditions and related challenges
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries)
- Collaborate with internal teams, external providers, and client support systems
- Maintain compliance with licensure requirements and ongoing training standards
What We're Looking For
- Education: Master’s degree in a clinical discipline (e.g., Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Psychology)
- Licensure: LPC, LCSW, or LMFT (preferred)
- MUST HAVE:
- Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and therapeutic interventions
- Experience working in substance use treatment settings, with an understanding of addiction, recovery principles, and evidence-based interventions.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Clearances:
- Pennsylvania Act 33 & 34 Clearances
- FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
- Verification of no exclusions from Medicaid/Medicare
Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
