Summary: Nurtured Beginnings: Attachment-Based Therapy Services is an Outpatient Services program. The therapist with the Nurtured Beginnings: Attachment-Based Services provides clinical therapy/counseling interventions and family skills training for children ages 0- 5 years old and their caregivers. This role includes providing in-home services, conducting initial intake/diagnostic interviews, assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based, attachment-based and trauma-informed care. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Clinical Service Delivery Provide intensive in-home attachment-based services with children aged 0-5 years and their caregiver(s) that includes Family Therapy and the Circle of Security Parenting Model curriculum for Family Skills Training,Provide evidence-based, evidence-informed and trauma informed treatment modalities.Ensure treatment services conform to best-practice standard of care.Maintain standard of ethics within the fieldEnsure on-going scheduling based on level of care. Assessment & Treatment Planning Complete diagnostic interviews to determine eligibility and level of care.Complete evidence-based measures and Nurtured Beginnings/Early Childhood identified assessments to track progress within program/curriculum. Develop strength-based Therapeutic Treatment Plans for identified clients and caregiver.Utilize Circle of Security Parenting Model for weekly Family Skills Based Sessions and evidenced-based therapy interventions for weekly therapy sessions with child and caregiver. Collaboration & Care Coordination Collaborate with community-based referral sources and TNV programs to ensure wraparound support. Training & Licensure Completes Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) training and obtains IECMH Endorsement Maintain masters level clinical licensure continuing education units; obtained within the state of TN licensure expectations.Obtain associate license or full licensure when eligible Active participation in clinical licensure supervision with outside provider or complete TNV Supervision Agreement for clinical supervision upon hire Documentation & Compliance Clinically document progress notes for all therapy sessions, family skills training sessions and Nurtured Beginnings programs assessments/measures in agency EHR.Complete Therapeutic Treatment Plan.Complete discharge plan and summary.Provide treatment summaries and other documentation as requested.Ensure Agency and Outpatient consent forms and Releases are completed.Ensure legal documents are on file as needed.Perform additional duties as assigned. Other Skills and Abilities: Understanding of developmental, emotional, relational, and social needs of children and adults.Specialized training and endorsement in Infant and Early Childhood Mental HealthExperience supporting children and families with mental health and behavioral challenges.Knowledge of trauma-informed care for children and adults including attachment-based care.Experience creating strengths-based treatment plans and supporting family skill-building.Ability to empathize with and empower clients and families.Sensitivity to culture, family structures, and local community systems.Strong organizational, written, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Qualifications: Masters degree in counseling, social work, or mental/behavioral health discipline is requiredLicense preferred; license-eligible requiredMinimum two (2) years of clinical experience Must complete Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) Endorsement training upon hireExperience in child and family serving systems and non-profit organizations preferredNon-profit organization experience and work history within child serving systems preferredValid drivers license and current auto insurance required Core Competencies: Delivers attachment-based, trauma-informed, and evidence-based therapeutic services to young children and caregivers.Conducts clinical assessments, determines level of care, and develops individualized, strength-based treatment plans.Utilizes the Circle of Security Parenting Model and family therapy approaches to strengthen caregiver-child relationships.Partners with families, referral sources, and community stakeholders to ensure comprehensive wraparound support.Maintains accurate clinical records, treatment documentation, and regulatory compliance in accordance with agency and ethical standards.Pursues licensure, specialized training, supervision, and continuous learning to uphold best-practice standards of care. Performance Evaluation: Employees are evaluated on an annual basis. Performance Reviews are completed electronically by the employees direct supervisor then reviewed and approved by regional or program leadership. Employees are given the opportunity to review their performance evaluation with their supervisor and will be required to acknowledge receipt of the annual review electronically.
