Immediate need for a talented Outreach and Energy Assistance Specialist Junior . This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Carneys Point, NJ(Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location). Key Responsibilities: The contractor will primarily work on: Processing USF (Universal Service Fund) applications Processing LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) applications Assisting customers with completing applications Conducting outreach activities Administrative support Maintaining records and documentation Communicating with customers regarding eligibility and required documents Key Requirements and Technology Experience: USF/LIHEAP experience Previous experience working with government or utility assistance programs is highly preferred Comfortable interacting with customers, community organizations, and assisting the public. Data entry Document management Filing Scheduling General office support Experience with USF/LIHEAP Strong empathy and customer service skills Valid driver's license Reliable personal vehicle (travel may be required) High School Diploma or GED Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Bilingual would be nice.
