Job Title: Community Outreach Representative

Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Director of Outreach and Eligibility
Supervision Responsibilities: No
Essential Role: Responsible for assisting eligible low-income families for the Healthy Kids Grant Project. For families already enrolled in Kancare, responsible to assist families in maintaining coverage. Responsible for traveling to outreach locations in order to meet with families in-person on a routine basis.

Working Conditions:
Travel to various outreach locations required. This is a multi-task oriented position that may require sitting or standing for long periods. Bending, stooping, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required. Must interact with professionals, clients, patients, and other office personnel. Must possess socio-economic and cultural sensitivity. May involve contact with angry, upset or ill persons. Must have visual acuity and manual dexterity to interface with a computer. Must have auditory acuity to handle phone calls and extensive interaction with the public.
Work Schedule: Work schedule may vary. May require some evening and weekend activities (e.g. health fairs). This is a non-exempt position.
