Position Summary
The Home Health and Hospice Outreach Coordinator is responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with area providers for the purpose of profitably growing Home Health and Hospice Services for MultiCare. This includes, but is not limited to increasing referrals to and/or utilization of designated MHS services and facilities; expanding these capabilities to new markets and increasing market share for these services/facilities, and developing and implementing direct-to-consumer marketing plans The focus will be on improving the financial performance of the facility or careline by generating additional business, and enhancing relations between MHS and key providers in the service area while growing utilization of our services by consumers. This highly visible, professional level position has extensive contacts and communications with the external provider community, and will develop a thorough understanding of the needs and dynamics of employed and community-based provider practices, as well as other channels for achieving sales goals. The incumbent works as part of the Provider Relations and Outreach team, in conjunction with one or more Service line Administrators, Careline Administrators, and MMA Leadership, to facilitate ongoing relationship development and to promote increased utilization of MHS facilities and services.

Requirements


BA or BS (in marketing, business) preferred
Current Washington state driver's license
Minimum five (5) years of experience
Experience identifying and developing business and marketing plans, identifying new customers and developing/warming leads; closing transactions and/or sales
Experience working effectively with senior levels of management; physicians and physician groups
Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $76,710.00 - $110,365.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
