Outreach Specialist

Job Responsibilities and Functions

Applicants must possess an understanding of the individual needs of highly mobile homeless children and families. Ability to communicate with students living in at-risk situations and their parents or guardians. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are desired. Knowledge of school, district, and community resources is preferred. Ability to maintain accurate records and complete reports in a timely manner. Technology skills are a must.

Minimum Training

Must have at least 48 semester hours of college credit. An Associate's Degree or higher with a concentration in the area of social science is preferred.
