Location: Washington, DC (Field-Based 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible as needed) 
Pay Rate: $22.84/hour 

Position Summary 

V-Tech Solutions is seeking an Outreach Specialist to provide in-home support services to families with young children, focusing on early childhood development, parenting support, and health education. 

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct weekly home visits and maintain an assigned caseload  

• Administer screenings and assessments; provide referrals as needed  

• Deliver education on parenting, child health, and home safety  

• Build strong, culturally responsive relationships with families  

• Support outreach, recruitment, and community engagement efforts  

• Assist with program promotion, especially in Wards 5, 7, and 8  

• Maintain accurate and timely data in required systems  

• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development  

Qualifications :

• 1+ year of experience in social services, public health, education, or related field (or lived experience)  

• Associate or bachelor's degree in public health, psychology, education, social services, or related field (preferred)  

• Experience working with children and families strongly preferred

• Experience with assessments, referrals, and case management  

• Basic data entry and documentation skills  

Work Environment 

• Field-based role requiring travel to clients’ homes, community sites, and events  

• Combination of remote, office, and in-community work  

• May require occasional evening or flexible hours  

Duration :

• Contract through September 30, 2026 (with potential extension based on funding)
