    JOB DESCRIPTION


    • The Outside Account Executive is a critical role designed to drive proactive growth by moving beyond a referral-only model. This position acts as a dedicated "hunter" responsible for building a book of business from the ground up within specific metro territories. The representative will focus on the Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) market, specifically targeting high-growth companies in industries such as home services, construction, and logistics. By identifying client needs and presenting remote talent solutions, this role serves as the primary bridge between potential customers and a pool of professional talent

     


    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


    • Prospecting and Pipeline Building: Research target accounts and perform daily outreach consisting of 40+ phone calls and 5+ in-person visits to generate leads.
    • Consultation: Schedule and conduct 8–10 consultations per week to understand client staffing needs and present the value proposition.
    • Full Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the process from the initial meeting through the signing of terms, typically closing deals within a 3 - 4 week timeframe.
    • Referral Generation: Actively secure 1-3 qualified referrals weekly to enroll clients into the partner program.
    • Strategic Networking: Participate in local trade associations and networking groups to build credibility and long-term relationships in the assigned territory.
    • Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with the recruiting team and talent partners to ensure three qualified candidates are ready for client interviews.
    • Data Accuracy: Maintain rigorous records of all interactions and sales stages within the HubSpot CRM


     

    REQUIREMENTS


    • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (outside sales preferred)
    • Track record of exceeding quota (documented achievements)
    • Experience managing territories and pipelines
    • Strong written and verbal English skills
    • Experience selling to small- to medium-sized businesses
    • Experience building out a book of business
    • Proficiency in using a CRM for pipeline management and reporting 
    • Strong presentation and consultation skills (Zoom, Teams, in-person)
    • Prospecting techniques: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold outreach, referral mining
    • Sales process management: discovery, consultative selling, objection handling, closing
    • Networking and event participation skills to build local presence and credibility.



    NICE TO HAVE


    • Experience utilizing HubSpot
    • Industry knowledge in construction and related professional services



    EDUCATION


    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required for candidates with high-level sales achievements.
    • Prior experience in rigorous sales training programs (such as those at ADP or Paychex) is highly valued.

     


    COMPENSATION PACKAGE


    • Base Salary: Starting at $ 65,000 - $ 75,000 annually based on experience.
    • Commission: Uncapped commission structure with an expected Year 1 OTE of $150,000–$200,000 based on performance (8 placements per month).

     


     WORKING CONDITIONS


    • Environment: Remote workspace for administrative and virtual meeting tasks.
    • Travel: Regular local travel required for in-person client meetings and networking events.
    • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to client preferences, alternating between virtual and in-person engagement.
