YOUR SCHEDULE

This is a full-time Monday–Friday position, 8 AM–4 PM, with customer-driven hours and approximately 80% travel.


YOUR DAY

As our Outside Industrial Sales Representative, you'll build and manage your territory, prospect new clients, and convert opportunities into revenue. Your role includes strategic outreach, on-site visits to uncover needs, and presenting tailored solutions. You'll negotiate deals, strengthen relationships, and expand account value through upselling. Collaborating with internal teams, you'll track performance and adapt to market changes, aiming for $1.5M–$3M in new revenue within your first two years.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience (industrial/manufacturing preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Excel, & PowerPoint (SharePoint, Teams) and sales enablement tools
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and company strategy
  • Ability to build strong relationships with engineering, purchasing, and operational teams
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Experience with ERP systems; Epicor experience a plus
  • Adaptable and willing to mentor others
  • Adherence to safety standards and company policies
  • Willingness to wear PPE when needed
  • Ability to travel extensively (~80%) and lift up to 50 lbs

Experience in OEM hose, hydraulics, or related industries, strong analytical and presentation skills, and a commitment to continuous development are required.
