The job focuses on the maintenance of a outdoor grounds, including sidewalks, parking lots, and landscaped areas. This role ensures these spaces remain safe, clean, and welcoming for visitors:
- Waste Removal: Emptying exterior trash and recycling bins, removing litter from lawns and parking lots, and clearing debris from work sites.
- Walkway Maintenance: Sweeping and cleaning sidewalks, steps, and entryways to keep them clear of dirt, cobwebs, and hazards.
- Surface Cleaning: Using pressure washers or hoses to clean building exteriors, windows, glass doors, and parking garages.
- Facility Checks: Reporting safety issues, checking the condition of exterior fixtures, and occasionally monitoring HVAC or ventilation systems that may be affected by outdoor debris.
Skills and Requirements:
- Physical Stamina: The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks like lifting heavy equipment or manual labor.
- Equipment Operation: Proficiency with tools such as power washers, leaf blowers, lawnmowers as well as other cleaning tools.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safe chemical handling for outdoor fertilizers or cleaning agents, and following.
