Key Requirements:- Assists journey-level machinists by setting up equipment, loading materials, deburring parts, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
- Key responsibilities include reading basic blueprints, operating machinery, using precision measuring tools like calipers, and performing material handling, often requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Machine Setup and Operation: Assists with setting up and operating manual lathes, milling machines, drills, and grinders.
- Material Handling: Loads and unloads raw materials and finished parts, often using forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Deburring and Finishing: Removes sharp edges and excess material from finished parts to meet quality standards.
Shifts:- Monday -Friday 0700-4PM
- Overtime, nights, and weekdns as required to supporrt vessel schedules.
