Outside Process Administrator

Summary:

Responsible for procurement of all Outside Processing for mid-sized AS9100 aerospace company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but, are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.

• Responsible for creating purchase orders to meet outside processing production requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible for negotiating pricing and delivery from large supplier base.
• Selects vendors, assesses vendor capabilities, develops alternate sources, and evaluates vendor performance as related to outside processing.
• Interfaces directly with engineering to resolve vendors issues on specifications in a timely fashion.
• Responsible for managing the approved outside processing supplier list.
• Performs daily follow up and expedition of outside processing orders and reporting the status to operations team members the following morning.
• Interfaces with accounting department to resolve all outside processing purchase order and invoice issues.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and persuasive skills required.
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment handling high volume of outside processing purchase orders
