Outside Sales Representative – Southeast Region

Location: Remote – Southeast U.S.

Preferred Locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Columbia, SC; Nashville, TN

Compensation: $80,000–$160,000+ (DOE) + Profit Sharing + Comprehensive Benefits

About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading provider of power infrastructure and critical backup solutions used in essential industries across North America. Their products help keep communications networks, emergency response systems, transportation infrastructure, utilities, and industrial facilities operating when reliability matters most.

As part of an ongoing expansion effort, the company is adding an Outside Sales Representative focused on growing business throughout the Southeast region.

This position is ideal for an experienced territory sales professional who enjoys developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and creating long-term partnerships with customers.

Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management (60%)
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers across technical, operational, and executive levels.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Develop customized recommendations based on customer requirements.
  • Support customers throughout the sales cycle and post-sale relationship.

Territory Development & New Business (30%)
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities.
  • Develop and execute regional growth strategies.
  • Prospect new customers through networking, referrals, industry contacts, and market research.
  • Expand market share within assigned territory.

Industry Representation (10%)
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activity.
  • Gather customer feedback to support future product and market development.

Ideal Qualifications
  • 5+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience.
  • Experience in power systems, industrial equipment, utilities, telecommunications, electrical products, infrastructure solutions, or related technical industries.
  • Demonstrated success growing a territory and developing long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Southeast region.
