Outside Sales Representative – South & Central Arkansas Territory
Position Title: Outside Sales Representative
Territory: South & Central Arkansas
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to grow market share throughout South and Central Arkansas. This role is responsible for generating new business through cold calling, prospecting, relationship building, and selling a broad portfolio of products and services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a hunter mentality who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow a sales territory throughout South and Central Arkansas.
- Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person prospecting.
- Identify customer needs and present appropriate products and service solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct face-to-face sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing and account follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within CRM.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and account support.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of outside sales, business development, or territory management experience preferred.
- Proven success in cold calling and new business generation.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
