Territory is to be determined within the New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts area. Salary range reflects potential commissions. Summary Proactively provides profitable sales growth through maintenance of strong relationships with current accounts, increased sales to current accounts, initiation of new accounts focused on the MITHOR code in conjunction with current years’ sales plan, & cooperative interaction with all departments by performing the following duties. Ability to calculate figures & amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra & geometry. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. While performing the duties of this job the employee will need to frequently communicate with others and must be able to exchange accurate information. Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment. Frequently needs to lift and/or move items that weigh up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Regular, full time. Hours as assigned and needed in Sunday – Saturday work week. Requires valid drivers’ license and ability to drive in a safe and responsible manner. Clean MVR check by Ed Herrington policy requirements. Must be proficient in ability to use and understand company software/computer systems. Must be able to use available millwork software, i.e. Anderson, Marvin, etc. Requires advance knowledge of engineered wood design and products. Independent position requiring minimal supervision. Participate in an active role in at least one civic, charitable or volunteer organization approved by Supervisor. |
