Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary

McLaughlin's Home Improvement is seeking a self-motivated and driven Outside Sales Representative with experience in Outside Sales who maximizes deal potential, through education of our clients instead of pressure.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage new leads through door-to-door outreach, and networking.
• Perform roofing/siding/gutters and storm damage inspections accurately.
• Prepare and present accurate estimates and proposals.
• Follow up with existing customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction, identify upselling opportunities, and foster long-term relationships.
  

Requirements

• 2+ Years of sales experience.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Dependable
• A self-starter mentality with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented focus.
• Professional attitude and demeanor.
• A Valid driver's license, reliable form of transportation, and capability of safely climbing up and down a ladder to inspect roofs. (walkable roofs only)
  

Bonus Skills

• Experience in outside sales, especially within roofing, gutter, siding and storm damage industries.
• Experience interacting with storm damage claims.
• Experience in Xactimate
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
