Compensation: $65,000 base salary + commission
About the OpportunityOur client, established in 2016 in the Dominican Republic, is the manufacturing arm of a global group specializing in high-quality galvanized, hot rolled, and cold rolled steel tube production. In 2024, they launched their U.S. distribution business, which quickly became the fastest-growing division within the group. As part of this exciting expansion, the company has opened its first U.S.-based warehouse in Dade City, Florida.
We are seeking a motivated
Outside Sales Representative to play a key role in building and growing market share across Florida and Georgia. This is a high-visibility opportunity to represent a rapidly expanding company in the steel industry, develop strong customer relationships, and directly impact growth.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to potential customers.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver quotes, follow up on proposals, and manage order fulfillment.
- Track sales activity and maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to provide insights to management.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Travel regularly throughout Florida and Georgia to meet with customers.
QualificationsMust-Have:- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 2+ years of outside sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred:- Experience in the steel or industrial materials industry.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
