Outside Sales Representative

Bemana is recruiting an Outside Sales Representative on behalf of a Texas-based provider of electrical products to the electrical utility industry. This person will cover accounts across the greater Houston, TX area.

As an Outside Sales Rep, you'll be responsible for building and fostering relationships with specific accounts, generating new business opportunities and promoting products and services to customers in the utility sector.

BENEFITS:

• Pay: $120k - $150k/year salary. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and foster relationships with a set customer base and key distribution partners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the utility sector. 
• Conduct sales and product demonstrations to potential customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturers to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote products and services.
• Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous outside sales experience, preferably in the electrical utility industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of electrical utility products and services is a plus.
• Willingness to travel weekly within assigned territory.
