PIRTEK Sacramento West is hiring an experienced Outside Sales Representative to build our new Sacramento territory.


We provide 24/7 mobile hydraulic and industrial hose service to businesses that depend on equipment to operate. We are looking for a motivated B2B salesperson who knows how to prospect, get in front of decision-makers, and develop commercial accounts.


This is a field-based, boots-on-the-ground sales position — not inside sales.


IDEAL EXPERIENCE


We are especially interested in candidates who have sold to or worked with:

• Construction and heavy equipment companies
• Agriculture and farming operations
• Manufacturing plants and factories
• Equipment rental companies
• Trucking and commercial fleets
• Waste and recycling operations
• Industrial maintenance operations

Experience with hydraulic hoses and fittings, fluid power, industrial hose, MRO/industrial supplies, heavy-equipment parts or service, equipment rental, or fleet services is highly preferred.


Direct hydraulic experience is a major plus, but not required for candidates with strong outside B2B sales experience in the industries we serve.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop the Sacramento territory from the ground up
• Conduct daily face-to-face prospecting
• Build your own target-account list and sales pipeline
• Identify fleet, maintenance, operations and equipment decision-makers
• Visit construction yards, shops, fleets, factories and industrial facilities
• Cold call and develop new commercial accounts
• Build long-term customer relationships
• Maintain prospect and account activity in CRM
• Promote PIRTEK's 24/7 mobile hydraulic and industrial hose service

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience preferred
• Proven ability to generate your own prospects and opportunities
• Comfortable walking into businesses and asking for the decision-maker
• Strong follow-up and territory-management skills
• Comfortable using CRM and basic computer systems
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Valid driver's license

Existing relationships with Sacramento-area fleets, contractors, manufacturers, equipment rental companies, farms, trucking companies or industrial operations are a major plus.


COMPENSATION


$55,000–$75,000+ annually — Base Salary + Commission / Performance Incentives
