Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Outside Sales Representative based in the Iowa City area. This is a remote, work-from-home role with local travel to meet with customers and prospects. Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person sales visits and proactively prospect to grow revenue and market share.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and promote stock and custom products.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions, including custom products, special packaging, stocking programs, and direct shipments.
• Prepare quotes and negotiate pricing, delivery, and stocking options.
• Partner with Sales Support and Purchasing to develop quotes, research accounts, and understand supplier capabilities.
• Maintain accurate customer and account information in company systems.
• Monitor account growth, identify opportunities, and communicate account changes to management.
• Coordinate the transition of accounts to Inside Sales and Customer Service when appropriate.
• Maintain strong product and technical knowledge and complete daily sales activity reports.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of B2B sales experience.
• Strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and self-motivation.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service and working as part of a team.
• Excellent communication abilities and a proven track record of building lasting customer relationships.
• Proficient in Windows, Google GSuite, and Microsoft Office.
