Pay Rate: Base Salary + Commission + Travel Expense Reimbursement (Salary DOE)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Join a growing industrial packaging organization as an Outside Sales Representative. This field-based role is ideal for an experienced sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and helping manufacturers reduce costs through innovative packaging solutions.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent sales and industry experience will be considered

Experience Requirements

• Previous success in outside sales, business development, account management, or a related sales role
• Industrial packaging, bulk bag (FIBC), chemical, food ingredient, agricultural, or manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Experience developing new business and managing customer accounts
• CRM and Microsoft Office experience preferred

Job Duties

• Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory
• Develop new business through prospecting, referrals, and industry contacts
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers
• Visit manufacturing facilities to evaluate packaging processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Recommend cost-saving and operational efficiency solutions
• Manage projects from initial contact through implementation
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and RFP responses
• Negotiate pricing, orders, and commercial agreements
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, and customer service teams

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to travel as needed throughout the assigned territory
• Ability to visit manufacturing facilities and production environments
• Ability to work independently from a home office

As a Outside Sales Representative you will assist customers, respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, process orders, maintain customer records, follow up on sales opportunities, resolve service issues, coordinate with internal departments, and provide timely communication that supports customer satisfaction and business growth while maintaining accurate documentation.
