Position Summary:
Under general supervision, to help support and grow our business. Metals industrial experience with a proven record of accomplishment of successful new business development is highly preferred.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:
• New account development and prospecting • Increasing share at existing accounts • New product introduction • Effectively communicate EMS' distinct proficiencies • Margin improvement initiatives • Suggestions for adding new inventory items • Prepare and present pricing and proposals to customers • Maintaining computer records as to customers volume, usage and competitive feedback • Effective time and territory management for traveling
Qualifications:
Clean driving record free of DWIs or other major convictions such as careless and reckless driving, hit and run, etc. over the past 5 years is necessary! Must be willing to sign our standard non-compete agreement. Four year college degree is preferred. Prior outside sales experience is required. Ability to organize, plan and prioritize duties: Detail oriented. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong math skills are required.
