Our dynamic, rapidly-growing company is looking for energetic Outside Sales Representatives. Our most successful team members have excellent customer service and time management skills and a drive to succeed. If this sounds like you, we’d love to talk! 

As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll run the show and be the face of TEC to the customer; from roof inspections, identifying opportunities, closing sales, and ensuring projects get carried out with technical expertise.

About the job:
  • Promote TEC’s services and products to potential customers and communicate effectively through the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships by using a combination of office leads, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
  • Understand and communicate information regarding company products, services, and policies and procedures to new and existing customers.
  • Oversee teams on projects and installations to ensure quality of work is up to TEC’s quality standards.
  • Must be able to get on roofs to inspect for damage along with looking for damage around siding and gutters.
  • Travel daily in assigned territory to meet with customers.

The ideal candidate:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Previous experience in sales, construction, or working in an outside environment is a plus
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Ability to get on roofs.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to travel overnight, when needed.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Work location: on the road.
