Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads. • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets. • Identify and pursue new hospital construction, renovation, and upgrade projects. • Build relationships with hospital executives, nursing leadership, IT departments, and facilities teams. • Present and demonstrate Rauland's nurse call and clinical communication systems. • Manage the RFP (Request for Proposal) process for hospital technology projects. • Coordinate with distributors, integrators, and internal engineering teams. • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools. • Provide accurate sales forecasts and territory reports. • Attend healthcare industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events. • Work closely with project management teams to ensure successful system implementation. • Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest. • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems. • Provides periodic territory sales forecasts. • Perform other duties assigned by management.
Education/Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, engineering, or related field OR 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare technology or capital equipment. • Experience selling into hospital systems or healthcare networks. • Strong presentation and negotiation skills. • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders. • Willingness to travel frequently within assigned territory. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
