Our client is a well-established, family-owned commercial printing company with a strong market reputation and a long-tenured team built on trust and quality. They offer a comprehensive suite of solutions — from commercial offset and digital printing to wide format displays, direct mail, packaging, promotional products, specialty finishing, fulfillment services, and integrated marketing support.

Due to continued growth and upcoming retirements within their experienced team, our client is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to serve the Portland metro area. This is a rare opportunity to inherit an established book of business while actively developing new client relationships — offering both immediate earning potential and long-term growth in a high-demand, evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business relationships throughout the Portland metro area
  • Manage and strategically grow an existing book of accounts provided at onboarding
  • Sell a full range of solutions, including:
    • Commercial and traditional print (offset, digital, specialty finishes)
    • Wide format printing and display build-outs (banners, signage, trade show displays)
    • Direct mail and mailing services (EDDM, variable data, bulk mail campaigns)
    • Packaging solutions (custom, branded, retail, and industrial packaging)
    • Promotional products and branded merchandise (heat press transfers, custom apparel)
    • Die cutting, bindery, and specialty finishing services
    • Fulfillment, warehousing, kitting, and multi-location distribution
  • Conduct client meetings, site visits, and tailored presentations to identify needs and deliver customized solutions
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal production and service teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery
  • Maintain a high level of sales activity including cold outreach, pipeline management, and consistent follow-up
  • Meet and exceed sales targets within a commission-driven environment

Qualifications

  • Proven B2B outside sales experience with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Strong hunter mentality with confidence in cold outreach, prospecting, and new business development
  • Motivated, competitive, and growth-oriented mindset
  • Ability to effectively manage both new business development and existing account relationships simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working both in-office and in the field on a regular basis
  • Experience in commercial print or a related industry is a plus, but not required
