    We are seeking a high-energy results-driven road warrior to take on an Outside Sales role and drive significant growth for NWAs automation solutions with a strong emphasis on robotic and valve automation. As a natural hunter you will be responsible for aggressively expanding our customer base by prospecting and developing new business opportunities. This role requires significant travel throughout Oregon to build strong relationships with OEMs and End Users and deliver custom automation solutions that meet their specific needs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prospect for new clients through cold calling, networking, and lead follow-up.
    • Consult with clients to identify their automation challenges, analyze their needs, and propose effective solutions with a focus on NWAs automation products.
    • Develop and deliver compelling presentations showcasing NWAs automation products and services.
    • Track sales and financial data, generating regular reports for management.
    • Negotiate and close deals, addressing customer concerns and objections with confidence.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, engineering, and sales to achieve optimal results for all NWA customers.

    Qualifications

    • Proven success in a technical sales role, preferably within the industrial automation industry.
    • A pre-existing book of business and established relationships within the Oregon industrial automation market is strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience and deep knowledge in robotic and valve automation solutions is highly desirable.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong understanding of industrial automation principles and applications.
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language for customers.
    • A self-motivated, results-driven approach with a passion for winning new business.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Salesforce experience is a plus.
    • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
