Position Overview

MAG Industries is seeking motivated and relationship-driven Outside Sales Representatives to manage and grow retail and distributor accounts throughout Pennsylvania. This role focuses on maintaining strong existing customer relationships while continuously generating new business opportunities within the convenience store and tobacco retail industry.

This is not a one-time transactional sales role. Our representatives work closely with customers over time by introducing new products, promotions, merchandising opportunities, and programs that help stores grow their business. Success in this role comes from building trust, creating long-term partnerships, and consistently supporting customer growth.

This is a collaborative role that works closely with our customer service, merchandising, and purchasing teams to ensure customers receive excellent support and service.

We are open to both experienced sales professionals and individuals looking to start a long-term career in outside sales. This position is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates, highly motivated individuals, or candidates looking to break into sales and business development with a growing company.

Candidates located near Tyrone, PA are preferred, but we are open to applicants throughout Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with convenience stores, smoke shops, distributors, and retail accounts
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, cold outreach, and territory development
• Regularly visit existing customers to maintain relationships and support account growth
• Present new products, promotions, merchandising opportunities, and sales programs to customers
• Identify opportunities to increase product placement and grow account volume
• Collaborate closely with customer service, merchandising, and purchasing teams to support customer success
• Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with customers and internal teams
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs throughout the territory
• Represent the company professionally in the field and during customer interactions
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and account updates
• Meet or exceed sales and growth expectations

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable speaking with and building rapport with a wide variety of people
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
• Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required
• Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
• Backgrounds in customer service, hospitality, athletics, retail, or leadership roles are highly valued
• Willingness to learn, grow, and develop professionally in a sales-driven environment
• Valid driver’s license required
• Clean driving record required
• Willingness to travel throughout Pennsylvania
