Job Summary:
 We are seeking a motivated and driven Industrial Outside Salesperson to join our team. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities and servicing accounts. This position requires 50% travel per month covering a territory of 12 states within the Southeastern US. All travel expenses are covered by the company including per diem pay. In this role you will be selling to food processing plants,  specifically poultry, protein, and dairy plants. The ideal candidate is confident, persistent, and comfortable with cold calling and building relationships in the field.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cold calls on food processing plants (poultry, protein, and dairy) within assigned territory
  • Alternate weekly between five days in the field making sales calls and one week in-office for planning and follow-up
  • Attend industry trade shows
  • Prepare and send documentation to customers
  • Enter and maintain accurate records in CRM system
  • Complete monthly and biweekly activity reports
 
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience where you are selling a product
  • Candidates with prior experience calling on food processing plants strongly preferred. 
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Resilient and comfortable handling rejection
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities
 
Compensation:
  • $45,000 – $60,000 base salary plus commission structure based off sales
  • Company Car provided with gas allowance
  • Pier Diem pay on travel days for food
