The Outside Technical Sales Representative position is based in Cleveland, Columbus OH, or Chicago, IL, and involves representing the company and its partner brands to serve as a key customer-facing resource in the appliance and technical components industries.
They support existing programs, develop new business opportunities, and provide technical guidance throughout product lifecycles. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to support application needs, product launches, and engineering changes.
Travel is frequent (around 70%), including international trips, to maintain customer relationships and meet business goals.
Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Science in a technical field (preferably engineering and business combined) and have 3–5 years of experience in technical or outside sales, especially within manufacturing or industrial components. Experience with engineered products or technical components is highly desirable.
