The Outside Technical Sales Representative is a customer-facing role based in Cleveland, Columbus OH, or Chicago, IL, responsible for promoting engineered products and solutions within the appliance and technical components industries.
They support existing programs, identify new business opportunities, and provide technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
The role involves close collaboration with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to facilitate application requirements, product launches, and engineering changes.
This position requires frequent travel (70%), including international trips, to maintain customer relationships and achieve business goals.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering and business
- 3–5 years of experience in technical or outside sales, or a customer-facing technical role
- Experience with engineered products or technical components is highly desirable.
