Outsourced Accounting Associate / Bookkeeper

Brown Plus is seeking an Outsourced Accounting Associate/Bookkeeper to join our team. As an Outsourced Accounting Associate/Bookkeeper, you will work closely with clients and internal team members to provide accounting and financial support to a variety of industries and clients. You will have the opportunity to support a variety of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), payroll, and account reconciliations, while building strong client relationships and expanding your technical accounting skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide outsourced accounting and bookkeeping services for a variety of clientsPerform day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenancePrepare and maintain financial records and supporting schedulesAssist with payroll processing and related accounting activitiesIdentify and research accounting discrepancies and recommend solutionsCommunicate directly with clients to obtain information, answer questions, and provide supportWork collaboratively with team members to meet client deadlines and deliver high-quality serviceMaintain accurate and organized client records The position can be based out of our Camp Hill or Lancaster, PA office and travel to client locations in the area is also required on an as needed basis.
