In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our outsourcing processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities
- Create spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders.
- Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database.
- Update customer information in a database.
- Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
- Sends request for quotes out to third party vendors for services.
- Issues the purchase orders for services and tracks progress of outsourced materials.
- Verifies material sizes and parts quantity is correct vs. the print and what is required to be build the job.
- Creates master order sheet
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in outsourcing or procurement, preferably in the aerospace sector.
- Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
Schedule and location
- Full-time, hourly position based on-site in Shelby Township, Michigan.
- Typical start time is 6:00 a.m. Hours may vary based on project requirements.
- No regular travel required.
- Occasional work on the manufacturing floor around machinery and production noise may be required.
