AMBSIMS & Associates Corp is seeking dedicated Over-the-Road Truck Drivers to join our team in Stockton, California. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive trucks with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) to transport goods over long distances
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Document and log work/rest periods, miles spent driving, and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Clean driving record
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
