    Job Description:

    Our client is an employee-owned company, is a leader in the rotorcraft aviation market recognized for its innovative solutions and value-added work from minor airframe inspections, removal and installation of major components, component overhaul and structural repair. In addition to operating our own fleet of both rotor and fixed wing aircraft, we are also an FAA certified repair station.

    Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Manage staff, prepare work schedules, and assign specific duties.
    • Cooperatively work with other management to ensure appropriate allocation of staffing resources.
    • Work with procedures and manuals to ensure compliance with company, manufacturer, and FAA regulations.
    • Perform overhauls on complex parts with an emphasis on Bell Helicopter Components.
    • Adheres to company policies and procedures in preparing, collecting, recording, and maintaining project data.
    • Prepare professional correspondence to vendors and customers as required.
    • Ability to research parts and prepare quotes from simple to complex projects.
    • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of projects.

    Job Requirements:
    • NDT experience and certifications to include Mag Particle, Ultrasonic and Dye-Penetrants
    • 5-10 years of experience in operations management is desired with A&P license.
    • Interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.
    • Ability to accurately use and read specialized measuring devices (i.e. micrometers, dial calipers, bore gauges, etc.)
    • Experience with machine shop tools such as milling machines, lathes, drill presses are a plus.
    • Must be able to lift and move items of 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
    • Excellent communication and people skills.
    • Must be a US citizen with a valid Driver’s License.
    • Must have a high school diploma, or GED.
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and FAA. regulated drug/alcohol tests prior to start. Will be enrolled in our random drug pool.
