Overhead Crane Operator

A company in Carrollton has an opening foran ExperiencedOverhead Crane Operator. These candidates Must be familiar with operating and controlling an overhead crane and sit down forklift in a warehouse environment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Using manual controls to control the movement, lifting 30 tons or more and positioning of loads using an overhead crane
• Observing and making sure the load is safely attached and within lifting limits during operation of a crane
• Keeping the crane clean and well maintained
• Using barrier signs around the crane to prevent anyone from walking under loads 

Requirements:

• Must have experience using an Overhead crane
• Must be able to move 15,000 lbs + using overhead crane
  
• Must have sit down forklift experience 
• Must have great attention to detail
  
• Must be available for 12 hour shifts 
• Knowledge of Julian dates is a plus

Schedule: 1st Shift 

Pay: $18/ Hour (depending on experience)
