Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads including machinery, equipment, and steel materials.
- Precisely control crane movements using controls, pedals, levers, and buttons to ensure accurate placement and safety.
- Climb burn tables to load and position materials effectively and efficiently.
- Use handheld grinders to grind and deburr steel parts, ensuring quality and readiness for subsequent processes.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting safely.
- Proficiency in reading tape measures for precise measurements.
- Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or shop environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to safety and detail, with a collaborative attitude.
