Material Handler – Fabrication (1st Shift)

Pay: $21.47/hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Location: Spartanburg, SC

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to support our fabrication team. In this role, you will ensure welders have the materials they need to maintain productivity while keeping inventory organized, accurate, and accessible.

Responsibilities

• Supply steel parts to welders as needed to minimize downtime
• Organize and maintain raw materials and work-in-process inventory
• Ensure all materials are properly labeled and easy to locate
• Follow FIFO inventory practices
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory
• Move materials as directed across fabrication areas
• Assist with loading trucks and packaging finished goods
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment (5S standards)
• Communicate inventory issues to supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2–3 years of material handling or inventory experience
• Forklift experience (intermediate to advanced)
• Overhead crane experience 
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read drawings and CNC screens
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
